    Results Sheet

Following comments from some clubs we have updated the results sheet to reflect changes to the online system. The latest version of the online system expects set scores vertically whereas previously they were horizontal. The new form mirrors the new system and it is hoped the updated form will avoid any confusion during results entry.

The link in the header has been updated to the new form.

  • Extreme Heat Policy

    Extreme Heat Policy

The league and the LTA take the safety and well being of players, spectators and officials extremely seriously.

The LTA has introduced an Extreme Heat Policy in addition to the Adverse Weather Policy to provide guidance to players and tournament officials during a heat wave. This new policy is inline with those of the ITF, WTA and other leading federations. Any wheelchair competitions should follow the ITF Wheelchair Circuit Regulations.

    Heat Stress Index

The Heat Stress Index Chart provides a general guideline for assessing the potential severity of heat stress. Individual reactions to heat will differ. It should be remembered that heat illness can occur at lower temperatures than indicated and susceptibility increases in the very young and elderly. Exposure to direct sunshine can also increase the Heat Stress Index.

Please refer to the LTA Extreme Heat Policy for full details.

  • LTA Advantage Membership Venue Affiliation

    LTA Advantage Membership Venue Affiliation

With the adoption of the LTA Advantage database in Tournament Software all players need to register with LTA Advantage and affiliate to their venue. Just becoming an LTA Advantage member is not sufficient.

We have added instructions on the documents page to assist players in creating a valid LTA Advantage membership.

This can also be found by click here.

  • LTA Advantage membership login details lost

LTA Advantage membership login details lost

There have been a few league players who have been unable to login to their LTA Advantage account. It is not possible to create a new account when one already exists for the individuals name and date of birth. If attempts to reset the account using forgotten username and/or password don’t work, then players should use the LTA Contact form using a version of words similar to the below replacing the words in [] with their own details.

Once access has been re-established, the player should ensure they are linked to their venue.

I am a member at [club] Tennis club and play in the Swindon & District Tennis League.  The league has adopted the LTA Player database this year and everyone now needs LTA Advantage membership.

I have tried to request the username and password for the account but the system states that the details don’t match.  I have also tried to create a new Advantage account, but the system states an account already exists for my details.

Please could you investigate.  If an account does exist for my details, please could you reset the account for me and let me know the new details.

    My details are as below:

    • Name: [name]
    • eMail address: As above
